18 year old Laura Marling, hailing from Reading was last on stage 2 on Thursday night and met with a warm applause considering how wet it was outside the tent! She wowed the crowd with her intimate style of acoustic folk showing exactly why she is 12 to 1 on to win this year's Mercury Music Prize.

Thought she was rather disappointing. Lacked any stage presence. Didn't introduce the band or say any 'thank-yous'.
Well, she is only 18, might be a little nervous, you know?
I thought she was brilliantly understated and let the songs silence the critics.
